STEM in the Gym™ is an integrative way to experience and reinforce Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in Physical Education.  It’s a fun way to learn core content in the fitness arena and connect kinesthetic learners.  It’s a great approach to reinforce learning that children love.

STEM in the Gym™ is a set of lesson plans and equipment (items other than what are found in a common gym class) that provide strategies and activities for introducing K-5 students to simple machines concepts through a kinesthetic approach in the traditional gym setting.  The lesson plans cover wedges, levers, wheel & axles, inclined planes, screws & pulleys, and gears.  The lessons are correlated to national science, technology, and mathematics standards at the elementary level.

RouterWorks CNC routers are controlled by a very easy but flexible control software called CncGraF.

CncGraF is a MS Windows program which connects to the machine through a standard USB port. The software provides comprehensive features for the complete control of all RouterWorks CNC machines. The optimized control of the stepper motors provides greater operating speeds (up to 30%) compared to other CNC controls (program look ahead). The multitasking function of MS Windows ensures a fast and reliable data exchange between the cncGraF and other applications (e.g. eSIGN, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or CorelDraw). Program features include override speeds and feeds with , editing capability of programs on the fly. Multitask by preparing new projects during part execution and machine operation. The CncGraf is easy to use, easy to learn and easy to teach. Software come complete with comprehensive operating manual.
