F-1 in Schools

F1 Car

  • The Formula 1 (F1) in Schools initiative creates a fun and motivating environment for students to experience the engineering process. The worldwide popularity of F1 racing lends excitement while providing a relevant background for simulating critical elements of engineering in the real world.
  • Top middle and high school students were recognized for success in the fourth annual F1 in Schools Formula One Technology Challenge that was part of the 29th Annual National Technology Student Association Conference in Nashville, TN June 24-27, 2007.
  • Students had the engineering opportunity of a lifetime: designing, building, and racing their very own model Formula One (F1) race cars. Autodesk, Denford, and Pitsco, in cooperation with the Technology Student Association (TSA), presented the engineering challenge.
